Smoke Opacity testing (OVI)
& OBD Testing
Which test you need depends on if you have an OBD connection. Most trucks newer than 2012 have an OBD port under the dashboard. If you do not have an OBD connection then you will need to get a smoke opacity test which is also known as the OVI Test or Opacity and Visual Inspection Test. Usually vehicles older than 2012.
